With over 15 years of practice in the design field, diploma in Graphic Design from Seneca College, and web courses from George Brown, I have an in-depth understanding of usability, brand standards, and accessibility, as well as the principles and practices of graphic design publications, and production techniques such as strong typography and layout.
I often fill freelance positions and work a combination of on-site and off-site projects. My methodology includes collaborating with creative studio professionals to identify and fill gaps. As an entrepreneur, my experience includes mentoring, problem solving and troubleshooting, managing projects, time, budgets, and clients. While I am knowledgeable in basic HTML, CSS, and frameworks, production and design are my specialties with a wide range of projects including but not limited to: package design, environmental signage, AODA and accessibility requirements. I've worked extensively on French language and multi-language projects.
Currently I am looking to expand my repertoire and seeking management / senior experiences. I'm looking for a dynamic team that is open minded, inclusive and diverse. What you get in return is someone with an alternative perspective, and someone whose craft and skills have been mastered over 15 years in the design field with clients from a variety of fields.
